While in LA for the holidays, I was able to visit a number of good birding spots and spend a little over 25 birding for the 7 days I was there. Some of the highlights for the trip were Mountain Plover*, *Tricolored Blackbird, Painted Redstart, Long-billed Curlew, Reddish Egret, Red-crowned Parrot, Nanday Parakeet, California Thrasher and Golden-crowned Sparrow.
